PayPal |
In order to make paying your dues easier, the Band Boosters have opened up a PayPal account. We can take credit cards through this account, but we are charged a fee by PayPal. We pay 2.9% + .30¢ per transaction. You will be responsible for this fee, and it will have to be paid by cash or check so we do not incur more fees. For example, you go to PayPal and pay us $150. We’ll get notification that you’ve paid $150, but we will only get $145.35 deposited to our PayPal account. PayPal takes $4.35 for the 2.9% and an additional .30¢ for the transaction. So, your student account will only be credited $145.35. This means you will still owe $4.65 on your student account. That is the amount that must be paid by cash or check. We hope this will make paying your dues a little more convenient, especially with the band trip that will be coming up during the 2007-2008 school year. If you have any questions about PayPal, please email Christa Ryan at mckryan@summergrove.net. Click the link below to go to the PayPal website. Log in and choose Send Money. You will be sending money to treasurer@eastcowetaband.org. Please be sure to put the student’s name in the comment section when sending a payment. |
